Silver Ferns Captain, Laura Langman has highlighted that she is honoured and privileged to be one of the players selected to tour Fiji in the Oceania Netball Tri series.
Langman said they are excited about the match against the Fiji Pearls this evening and hope that both teams will deliver a good outing that will meet the expectations of the public.
She said the Oceania Netball Tri series is also an opportunity for them to help the Pacific teams like Fiji and Samoa to grow and move up the ladder in the world netball rankings.
The Silver Ferns are ranked number two in the world while Fiji is ranked 7th.
Samoa is currently ranked 14TH in the world.
The Oceania Netball Tri Series will start at 6.40 this evening with the Fiji Pearls taking on the Silver Ferns in the opening match at the Vodafone Arena.
