The Silver Ferns arrived in the country this afternoon at the Nadi Airport as only one day remains for the Oceania Netball Tri- Series to start.
Netball Fiji, CEO, Wainikiti Bogidrau says the ferns spent the rest of the afternoon meeting close family and friends at the Pearl South Pacific resort and also a took a tour of scenery along the western division down to Suva.
She said the ferns will also be attending mass at Lomary Catholic Parish tomorrow.
Bogidrau also said the Samoa Netball team will be arriving in the country tomorrow and they will be accommodated with the Silver Ferns at the Holiday Inn in Suva.
She added that Netball Fiji is now fully excited as preparations for the official start of the series are almost complete.
Bogidrau also highlighted that Netball Fiji will be hosting a welcome lunch for all the three teams tomorrow at the Pearl South Pacific resort.
The Oceania Netball Tri‑Series will start at 6.40pm on Monday with the Fiji Pearls taking on the Silver Ferns in the opening match at the Vodafone Arena.
