Vodafone Fiji 7s coach, Ben Ryan is expected to be in England to provide some assistance to the coaching staff of the Vodafone Flying Fijians.

Flying Fijians coach, John McKee has confirmed this after Fiji’s 47-18 win against Canada in their warm up match early this morning.

McKee said Ben Ryan has spoken to him and since he will be in England, he will be happy to work with him.

The overseas media also noticed Fiji’s improved performance in the set pieces against Canada.

McKee said a lot of work has gone into this area.

Still on the Rugby World Cup,

“The one thing we have is spirit and the ability to look after each other. We are not fortunate enough to have the facilities that some teams do but the things that money can’t buy are spirit and the relationship we have with our supporters.”

Those were the words of Vodafone Flying Fijians wing, Nemani Nadolo who cannot wait to play against England in Fiji’s Rugby World Cup opening match next Saturday.

Nadolo said the bonding within the team is what he calls a “blessing” and everyone is fighting for a spot to start against England.

The Crusaders wing said they will be playing for pride, playing for the jersey and play for the Fijian people.

Fiji take on England in the opening match of the Rugby World Cup in Twickenham at 7am next Saturday.
