The Israel’s Pacific Advisor, Yaron S. Dadon says relations between Fiji and Israel are excellent and this is evident in the fact that Fijians require no visa to stay in Israel for 90 days.
Dadon who is finishing his three-year contract in Fiji this year says he has a lot of memories that he will be taking back.
He says Israel is a very small country with a population of 8 million and has very limited resources but what they have to offer for Fiji is knowledge.
Dadon made these remarks during a visit to Gospel High School and added that Israel has the ‘Mashav’ scholarship that is up for grabs.
He says during his years of in Fiji he always wanted to visit a school in the country.
He says he is hoping for an embassy in both Fiji and Israel.
Dadon also praised the soldiers for protecting their people in Golan Heights as part of peacekeeping missions.
