Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has urged traditional leaders in Nadroga/Navosa to build a good relationship in their own families so they can become better leaders in their community.

While highlighting this at the opening of the Traditional Leadership Curriculum Program for Nadroga/Navosa, Bainimarama says being a good leader begins at home by building a good relationship with family members.

He says this will enable one to become a better leader in their clans, district and mostly in the province they are entitled to lead in.

The Prime Minister also stated that the government is trying to reduce the poverty level of the nation and it does not mean that this deals only with money.

He says people can become rich by the use of land and also through the preservation of their traditional artifacts that entails the story of their past.

40 participants will take part in the Traditional Leadership Curriculum Programme at the Centre for Appropriate Technology Development in Nadave.
