After months of hard work, year 5 students of International School Suva are showcasing their work in the Primary Years Program Exhibition.
Year 5 teacher James McMorrow says this exhibition helps the students to embark on an independent inquiry where they look into global and local issues ranging from poverty, gender equality, education, climate change, natural disasters, animal protection and corruption.
Meanwhile Minister of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Rosy Akbar says the exhibition is a thought provoking initiative.
Akbar who visited the school says issues raised by the year 5 students are the topics that adults should be concerned about.
The students were also ready to share their thoughts on the topics.
The International School Suva Primary Years Program Exhibition ends today.
