Local composers around the country turned out in numbers at the Fiji Performing Rights Association headquarters this morning to receive their royalty.
$245,050 was shared amongst our local composers.
FPRA Chairman Eremasi Tamanisau says the amount has been approved by the board after its financial year ending 30th June 2014.
Tamanisau says that only composers who released their songs between the 1st of July in 2013 till the 30th of June 2014 received their royalty.
Meanwhile, FPRA has more than 600 registered members.
