"I was blacked out and I can't recall anything".
This was highlighted throughout by the complainant in the rape trial of two former corrections officers Ratu Meli Vatureba and Nasoni Kaburau.
During cross examination, defence lawyer Barbara Malimali put to the complainant a number of questions this afternoon but the only reply was that she was blacked out and couldn't recall anything.
Malimali asked the complainant whether she danced with Vatureba in the Liquids nightclub and whether she kissed him.
She also asked her whether she grabbed Vatureba's hand and put it in her pants.
Malimali also asked the complainant whether she invited Vatureba to have sex with her in the toilet.
Malimali also asked her whether she had a quickie with Vatureba upon reaching the Suva Remand Centre.
The complainant told the court throughout that she was blacked out.
She says that she was unconscious throughout and saw Vatureba on top of her when she regained consciousness.
The two former Corrections Officers allegedly raped the 26-year-old female Corrections officer on 17th September 2015.
