Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum says Fiji is extremely lucky to be a country where we are able to celebrate all the different faiths, the different celebrations, the different anniversaries that they may have in their religious calendar and it is a very unique situation.

He made the comments at the Holi Celebrations at My Suva Park.

Sayed‑Khaiyum says Fiji maybe one of the very few countries in the world where we have such celebrations and where we have public holidays for occasions such as Diwali, Christmas, Easter and Prophet Mohammad's birthday.

He says Holi is about colors, about celebrations and it’s not only about celebrating each other’s diversity but each other’s experiences and sharing them with fellow human beings.
