The Fiji Police Force will now be able to deliver their services more efficiently after they received 26 more new government leased vehicles for a three year term from Asco Motors today.
While receiving the vehicles, Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho says that this will lift their level of service.
Qiliho reminded the officers that with more vehicles, they must avoid complaints against their services and abuse of the vehicles.
He says that they should show the people of Fiji that they are passionate about their calling to serve.
The Fiji Police Force has 199 vehicles in operation.
Meanwhile, Asco Motors Financial Controller and Company Secretary, Ronald Kumar says out of 90 vehicles, they have given 78 vehicles in total so far and twelve will be delivered soon.
According to Kumar, the vehicles cost close to $6 million.
