EFL to carry out replacement of new Transformer at the Cunningham Rd Zone Substation this Sunday

Energy Fiji Limited will be carrying out the replacement of the new Transformer at the Cunningham Road Zone Substation this Sunday.

CEO Hasmukh Patel says in order to carry out the transformer installation, EFL Engineers need to de‑energise the transmission line from the Wailoa Power Station to the Cunningham Road Zone Substation in Suva from 3:00am to 8:00pm on Sunday.

They will also carry out repair and maintenance works on three steel towers along the transmission line from the Wailoa Power Station to Cunningham Road Substation.

Energy Fiji Limited says it will do its utmost to ensure that power interruptions are kept to a minimum.
