Twenty-six police drivers that marched in for a three week course today have been warned not to abuse their authority by the Acting Police Commissioner ACP Rusiate Tudravu.
Tudravu told the participants that he does not expect to be receiving complaints about the abuse of authority.
He also stressed that members of the public don’t expect to see police officers driving in a reckless manner or disregarding road rules.
The drivers will undergo a three week course before becoming authorized drivers for the Fiji Police Force.
