Concerns raised about students smoking in school uniform

Serious concerns have been raised by people who witnessed students smoking in school uniform attending the Suva Zone 2 last Thursday at the ANZ Stadium Carpark.

Fijivillage was also present and noticed police presence in and around the National Stadium, however as the games concluded it was noticed that there was no police presence at the stadium car park.

When questioned Police have said that they will be greatly involved at the Coca-Cola Games and at the Suva Zone 1 that is scheduled to be held next Friday at the ANZ Stadium.

Police are also urging parents to be vigilant when supervising their children at such events and to always be aware of their children’s whereabouts.
