Chiefly funeral for the late Marama Na Tui Ba to be held today

The late Marama Na Tui Ba, Adi Laite Koroirua.

The chiefly funeral for the late Marama Na Tui Ba Adi Laite Koroirua will be held today at Nailaga village in Ba.

The late Marama Na Tui Ba passed away at 78 years old after a short illness.

Village headman Seremaia Tuwai says that the vanua o Koronubu and Bukuya is mourning the death of the Marama Na Tui Ba.

The late Adi Laite is survived by four children, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will also attend the funeral today.
