No one braves the elements better than Bear Grylls.

USA Today says the ballsy Brit was subjected to some of the most treacherous terrain on the planet as host of Discovery's popular survival show "Man vs. Wild" and NBC's "Running Wild," in which he roughed it outdoors with celebrities including Channing Tatum and Julia Roberts.

So of course it was a no‑brainer for super‑producer Mark Burnett  who produced "Survivor," and "The Voice" to call on Grylls, to help him revive famed adventure race "Eco‑Challenge, Burnett's first TV series.

A first trailer is premiering exclusively on usatoday.com ahead of the series' 2020 return on Amazon Prime Video.

First airing in 1995 on Discovery, the original "Eco‑Challenge" featured international teams of men and women racing nonstop across exotic locales such as Morocco, Argentina and New Zealand.

The show later moved to USA, but was cancelled by the network following the 2002 Fiji race.

Amazon's "Eco‑Challenge" returns to Fiji for its new streaming incarnation, which pits 50 teams of four competitors against each other over 14 days.

Teams are allowed to use only a map and compass to navigate, and will be required to rock‑climb, canoe, mountain‑bike and white‑water raft in order to complete the race.

The series begins shooting in September 2019 in Fiji.
