Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama

The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has today opened a new dormitory, a walkway and newly renovated library at the Vunisea Secondary School in Kadavu during his tour.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Vunisea Secondary School Principal, Malakai Lagilagi says they are proud of what the Prime Minister has opened today as it will boost the morale of the students and teachers.

Lagilagi says the money used for the all the works was from a grant of $100,000 given by the Prime Minister’s office.

He says the new boys dorm will have 24 beds, while the library which was built in 1970 has been renovated to one of the biggest school library in Fiji.

The Principal says from the $100,00 grant, they are still left to fix some other building in the school like their dispensary and some old classrooms.

The Prime Minister started his two day tour in Kadavu today in officiating at the presentation of government funded projects at Namalata Central School.

The Prime Minister will finish his Day 1 tour this afternoon at the commissioning of a new Early Childhood Education Block, a new library and a kindergarten at Daviqele.
