Good news for the students of Suva Primary School in Samabula who were today handed over their upgraded grounds and hard court by BSP Samabula branch.

The school ground was not been used by the students for the last decade due to OHS issues.

School committee vice president Isoa Vosanibola says they are thankful of receiving needed assistance through BSP’s community project as students had to use nearby grounds for their physical activities.

Meanwhile, during the official handover BSP General Manager Human Resources Howard Politini told the students that team work is really important in life which resulted in the success of this project. He also says the use of the ground is important as it helps in the student’s health.

Politini adds through their community projects they also help villagers with health centres and other assistance.

BSP provided $10,000 for this project as the other $4,000 was given by the school.

Suva Primary School in Samabula has about 320 students.
