A 58-year-old businessman who has been charged with one count of rape and one count of attempted rape was produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court.
Lekh Ram Narayan has been granted bail with a bail bond of $3,000 and two sureties.
A travel ban has also been issued.
Narayan will appear in the Lautoka High Court next Wednesday.
It is alleged that the incident occurred between December 2018 and this month.
