Yalovata 7s: Top Men’s teams confirm quarter final spots

Police Blue, Lami Cavaliers, Wardens Gold, Lavidi Brothers, Gau Kacau, Bularoos Rugby, Bay Fresh Gaunavou and Vacalea Boys are through to the quarter finals of the Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s after winning their respective elimination matches.

Police Blue defeated Brother 7s 12-7, Lami Cavaliers beat Bureta Brothers 10-5, Wardens Gold defeated Westcoast Drifters 21-0, Lavidi thumped Gideon Brothers 19-0, Gau Cakau beat St John Draiba 10-5, Bularoos edged CCSL Suva Stallions 7-0, Gaunavou beat Gumatua 17-12 and Vacalea Boys defeated Wairiki Brothers 14-0.

The men’s quarter finals will be held tomorrow.

Looking at the U21 quarter finals, Bureta Young Brothers will take on Radisson Naduruniu, Aqua Pro Savuiqila will take on Seventy By Seven Waqavuka, Village Boys taking on Nayavu Young Boys and TEMC Birdland Brothers will meet New Light Brothers.

The Yalovata 7s is underway at Nasau Park, Levuka.
