We put in the hard yards during the training throughout the week, and to finish it off with a win against Wales is really satisfying and the players are happy with the result.
This has been highlighted by the Fiji Water Flying Fijians Captain and hooker Tevita Ikanivere after the game today.
Coach Mick Byrne says the players wore that white jersey with pride.
Byrne says the numbers on the jersey may differ but the colour is still the same, and the players showed class defending their line until those final minutes of the game.
He highlighted that flyhalf Caleb Muntz stood up to the challenge and deserved to win the Player of the Match award, given his one season for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua.
Byrne says it is not easy for many flyhalf to put up a good performance like he did in a venue like that in Wales.
He stressed the importance of playing more games with these tier-one nations as they prepare for the World Cup next year.
Byrne says they will enjoy the win for now and regroup on Monday for their next test match against Spain.
Fiji will play Spain in their 3rd Autumn Series match at 2am Sunday at Valladolid, in Spain.
