We didn’t capitalise on our opportunities - Kativerata

We created opportunities but we didn’t capitalise on them.

Vodafone Fiji Bati coach Waisea Kativerata highlighted this to the media after their 22-10 loss to the PNG Kumuls saying they did not play to their standard.

He says in the first half they gave away four sets in a row, and they can’t afford to do that against a team like the Kumuls.

Kativerata says full credit to their forwards as they did not give up and their defence was solid.

He says their halves need to be more hands on and take control of the game.

The Bati play Cook Islands at 8.10pm Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
