We are ready to defend the Ratu Sukuna Bowl.

This is the message from the team and management of the Fiji Police Blue Rugby side ahead of the main 2024 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Rugby challenge against Army tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

President of the Police Rugby, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mesake Waqa says the team is ready to defend the prestigious tanoa for their families, supporters and all past serving members and their families, who have been part of the organisation’s proud 150-year legacy.

He says the team is focused on the task ahead, guided by the Acting Commissioner of Police’s direction to win and bring the Tanoa back to Nasova.

ACP Waqa says the wins by the other Police teams throughout the week have boosted Police camp morale.

He adds they know that Army will be equally determined to win tomorrow as no team trains to lose, and the boys have been reminded to remain composed and focused as discipline will win the game tomorrow.

The Police Blue side is calling on all police supporters to come out in numbers and support the side as they take on Army at 3pm tomorrow at the HFC Stadium.
