There are no more easy games in the series and all games are a quarter final match. This was highlighted by Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s coach Osea Kolinisau following the team’s success in the HSBC Dubai 7s over the weekend.
Kolinisau says all teams are coming into the series well prepared and it is evident as there were some upsets during the tournament.
He says they cannot afford to make mistakes as even a little mistake can cost them big time.
Kolinisau says there are still a lot of mistakes that they made and they had a lot of opportunities but did not capitalise on them.
He says they have talked about it with the players and that they can do better in the next tournament.
Fiji is in Pool A for the Cape Town 7s alongside Uruguay and Great Britain. Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side is in Pool D alongside Great Britain and the USA. The Cape Town 7s will kick off this Saturday.
