T20 Women’s World Cup: India beats Pakistan by 6 wickets

India has beaten Pakistan by six wickets and registered their first win in the Women's T20 World Cup tournament in Dubai, but remain in a precarious position in the group-stage table.

India made 108 runs in 18.5 overs while Pakistan made 105 runs in 20 overs.

Indian captain, Harmanpreet Kaur showed composure with 29 from 24 balls, however was later injured.

Pakistan are still in contention but also face a significant challenge as Australia are their next opponents.

India will face Sri Lanka on Thursday morning at 2.
