As the Fiji Water Flying Fijians prepare for their Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup semi final clash against the USA Eagles this weekend, coach Mick Byrne has highlighted that the biggest challenge for them is to make sure that their preparation stays consistent even though they trained in two different venues this week.

Byrne says the challenge is the same every week but just different oppositions and they have discussed as a team that they make sure they get prepared right.

He says this week they had to train in Nadi for two days and then have their third training session in Japan and they tried to make sure the players were well prepared and focused on what they are looking for.

Byrne further says they need to start well against the USA this week like they did against Tonga last week but another challenge is to keep the momentum going once they have a comfortable lead.

He says he is not sure what the score would be but they need to start at 100 percent and keep going till the end of the game.

The Flying Fijians will take on the USA Eagles at 10.05pm this Saturday.

In the other semi final this weekend, Samoa will take on Japan at 6.05pm Sunday.

Meanwhile, Tonga will play Canada in the 5thplace playoff at 7pm Saturday.

All these games will be played at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Stadium in Japan.
