Great news for Swimming Fiji as five of its members will be flying the Fiji flag at the World Aquatics Masters Championships that will be held in Singapore from the 26th of July to the 22nd of August.

The five swimmers are Sharon Smith, Tracy Powell, Carl Probert, Terence Erasito and Harvie Probert, who secured qualification after participating in The Grand Prix 2 swimming competition.

Swimming Fiji says 188 athletes, with 587 entries from eight clubs, created an electric atmosphere during the Grand Prix 2 swim competition.

They say the western clubs — Barcacuda, Seals, Mako, and Great White Sharks — competed alongside eastern teams, including Dolphins, Orcas, and Tritons and the Malolo Swim Club from Tonga.

Swimming Fiji adds the Grand Prix 2 not only showcased incredible talent but also strengthened the bonds within the swimming community, proving that dedication and unity can inspire greatness among all participants.
