Rewa will be attempting to play according to the game plan set by their coaches in the OFC Men’s Champions League, which kicks off in Honiara, Solomon Islands, this weekend.
Captain Setareki Hughs says the team's preparation was slightly disrupted when some players were away representing the national team in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers semi-finals against New Zealand.
He says the players will be aiming to deliver a better performance than last year, following their 4-2 extra-time loss to AS Pirae in the semi-finals.
While speaking about their opponents, Hughs says AS Tiga Sport has some outstanding players who have shown great performances.
He says at the end of the match, there will be a winning team and a losing team, and he hopes Rewa will be able to deliver a strong performance on the field.
The Delta Tigers are in Group A with Auckland City and AS Pirae, and they will take on AS Tiga Sport in their opening match at 1pm tomorrow.
