Jonacani Turaga of Rev Thomas Baker Memorial School in Navosa is excited that the Coca-Cola Games has returned after a lapse of 2-years and he is determined to go home with a medal this year.

The Year 13 student last participated in the Games in 2019.

Turaga says even though they don't have the facilities to train in the highlands, they make use of whatever materials are readily available in their surroundings.

Teammate Peni Duruka who will be running in the Intermediate Boys 1,500 metres is looking forward to running on the tracks for the first time at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Both athletes are aiming to get medals in the Coca Cola Games that begins tomorrow and ends on Saturday.
