The Bristol Bears were simply brilliant in their round 8 match against Leicester Tigers with centre Kalaveti Ravouvou scoring a double in their 54-24 win.
Ravouvou had a night out, scoring 2 tries including a 90 metre stunner, making 4 line breaks and running for over 220 metres.
Number 8 Viliame Mata scored his second try for the Bears in the season in the 28th minute after steaming onto the ball 10 metres from the try-line following a Kalaveti Ravouvou linebreak.
Bristol sit equal first with Bath following the win.
Sireli Maqala touched down for Bayonne in the 30th minute to score his 9th try of the season.
Maqala still leads the competition in tries scored despite missing 2 matches.
Bayonne defeated Salesi Rayasi’s Vannes side on their own turf, putting them back into the top 4.
