QVS to open title defence against Natabua High School in Under-18 Vodafone Super Deans quarter finals

Defending Under-18 Vodafone Super Deans champions, Queen Victoria School will begin their title defence against Natabua High School in the national quarter-finals this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.

QVS last won the competition in 2019 after defeating Ratu Kadavulevu School 13-12. QVS fullback Ratu Rusiate delivered the win for his team through a penalty in the 63rd minute of the match.

QVS will play Natabua at 11.20am in the second quarter-final, while Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute will meet Nasinu Secondary School at 10am in the first quarter final.

Suva Grammar School will play Lelean Memorial School at 12.50pm and Ratu Kadavulevu School will take on Marist Brothers High School at 3.30pm in the last quarter final.

In the Under 15 grade, Natabua will face Nasinu, RKS will play Suva Grammar and QVS will meet Ra High School. All these matches will be at 8.40am. The last quarter final match between Lelean and Marist will be at 9.30am.

In the Under 16 grade, the matches between RKS and Ratu Navula College and Suva Grammar and Lelean will be at 9.30am. The game between Cuvu College and Marist and also QVS and Nasinu will be at 10.40am.

In the Under 17 grade, Marist will play Lelean at 8.40am, Suva Grammar will face Sigatoka Methodist College and Nasinu to meet QVS at 12.05pm, while RKS will face Natabua at 1.30pm.

In the Under 19 grade, Ratu Navula will take on QVS at 10.40am, Ra High School will meet Nasinu at 12.05pm, RKS will play St. Bedes College and Naitasiri Secondary School will face Lelean at 1.30pm.

All games will be at the HFC Bank Stadium, Bidesi and Buckhurst grounds.
