The 2024 Coca-Cola Games blue-ribbon finals in the senior boy's grade will be dominated by the pre-competition champions from the Tailevu Zone, Suva Zone 1, Suva Zone 2 and the Triple N competition.

Tailevu Zone blue ribbon champion, Senirusi Rauqe of Queen Victoria School has the best manual time from the zone meets, with a time of 10.70 seconds.

He will be challenged by Suva Grammar School sprinter Semesa Caginivalu who clocked the second fastest manual time of 10.90 seconds in the Suva Zone 2 competition.

Caginivalu has also indicated that he will need to work hard to improve on his time at the Coca-Cola Games.

Bhawani Dayal College sprinter Josevani Ramaraca created history for his school after winning the blue ribbon event at the Triple N Zone, clocking a manual time of 10.93 seconds.

Also vying for the blue ribbon title this year is Holy Cross College athlete Mariselo Moceituba after running a time of 11.06 seconds during the Taveuni Zone.

MGM High School's Penaia Ramasirai also made his mark after claiming gold at the Suva Zone 1 with a time of 11.50 seconds.

Time will tell who will walk away with the blue ribbon title at this year’s Coke Games.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from next Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
