Players are showing positive progress and have kept the standards required to take part in the Oceania Rugby Under 20 Challenge.
This was highlighted by Sports World Fijian U20 coach Senirusi Seruvakula.
He says the team has been preparing well in anticipation of the tournament.
Seruvakula says they started preparations on the first week of December last year with most players selected from the Fiji Secondary School pool and a few players that represented the U20 side last year.
He says 45 players marched into camp, where screening, testing, and skill activities took place.
Seruvakula says the same happened in the High-Performance Centre in Sigatoka, Nadi and Suva.
The Challenge is scheduled for the first and second week of March in New Zealand.
