The Penrith Panthers’ premiership window is set to remain open for a good few years with club officials confident they can nail long-term deals for star trio Viliame Kikau, Dylan Edwards and Api Koroisau.

Kikau, Edwards and Koroisau are signed until the end of 2022 but can negotiate with other teams in just six weeks.

Their value will skyrocket if they can help the Panthers upset defending champions Melbourne Storm this Saturday to book a place in the grand final.

Panthers chief executive Brian Fletcher told the Herald that the three are great players and people wouldn’t find too many players who play in those positions as good as them.

The three players are on the starting line-up for the Panthers this week, however, Kikau is likely to come off the bench.

He is in some doubt with his ankle injury.

The Panthers will face Storm at 6pm Saturday and the Rabbitohs meet the Sea Eagles at 9.50pm Friday.
