New champion to be crowned at the 16th Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s as Police teams dominate

There will be a newly crowned champion at the 16th Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s after defending champion, Army Green, was defeated by Police White 15-10 in the cup quarter-final.

Police White also overcame Raiwasa Taveuni 14-12 during the elimination stages, maintaining their winning streak from the pool games.

Police Blue, Viti Roof Devvo Babas, and Wardens Gold are the other teams that have secured their spots in the cup semi-finals.

The two Police teams have maintained their winning form over the past two days and will be aiming to reach the final this afternoon.

In today's results, Viti Roof Devvo Babas defeated BLK Lavidi 17-7, while Wardens Gold edged VBM Black Heron 13-10. Police Blue also delivered a dominant performance, thrashing Fire Labasa 28-7.
