The All Whites dominated their first-ever game in Hamilton, defeating Vanuatu 8-1 to secure a spot in the Oceania Qualifiers semi-finals for the FIFA World Cup.
Goals came from Matt Garbett, Chris Wood, Tyler Bindon, Elijah Just, Sarpreet Singh, Callum McCowatt, while Jonathan Spokeyjack scored the loan goal for Vanuatu.
Vanuatu now faces a must-win against Tahiti, while New Zealand takes on Samoa next.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play New Caledonia tomorrow at 2.45pm in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
