Swire Shipping Fijian Drua nippy half back Peni Matawalu has married the love of his life today in an elaborate ceremony on New Year’s Eve.
Known as the comedian of the team, Matawalu says he now feels complete marrying his long time girlfriend in front of close family and friends.
He says he will enjoy today before they start preparations for their game against the Brumbies.
Matawalu has been consistent throughout the Shop & Save Super Rugby Pacific season and this has resulted in him being continuously named in the Flying Fijian team.
The Drua will face the Brumbies on February 15th at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva at 3.30pm.
