Manchester City came from behind to beat Everton 3-1 as the defending champions are trying keep pace with the English Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Manchester City are aiming to lift the trophy for the fourth consecutive season and it looked like they would fall eight points behind the Reds, but recovered with three second-half goals to lift themselves to fourth in the table.
Everton lead 1-0 at half time however, a goal each by Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva scored got them the win.
In other matches, Wolves beat Brentford 4-1 while Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-1.
