Making himself proud is one thing that motivates Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flyhalf Caleb Muntz every time he goes out onto the field to play.
The 24-year-old told fijivillage News that even after every game, he does not like to celebrate what he does on the field but gauge his performance and improve on the areas he did not do right.
Muntz says that it has always been a driving force for him and it allows him to not be complacent, but always try to be better.
Muntz who is originally from Rava, Savusavu is expected to return to the rugby field in the middle of the 2024 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season after suffering a serious injury before the Rugby World Cup last year.
Meanwhile, the Fijian Drua suffered a heartbreaking loss to Melbourne Rebels yesterday in their final pre-season match losing 26-21.
They will now turn their focus to next Saturday where they will play the Blues at 3.35pm in Auckland in the first round of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.
