Losing that game in those final seconds against France is hard but it is a valuable way to learn never the less.
This was highlighted by Fiji Airways National Men’s 7 coach Osea Kolinisau to fijivillage News this morning.
The Fiji Airways Men’s Sevens team arrived in the country yesterday after the first two tournaments in Dubai and Cape Town topping the points table for the HSBC SVNS 2024-2025 Series.
Fiji won Gold in Dubai after nine years and lost to France in the final 30 seconds of the Cup quarter-final in Cape Town South Africa.
Fiji Airways National Men’s 7 coach Osea Kolinisau told fijivillage News this morning that those final seconds during the game against France, were crucial and Fiji should have contested the ball because that was the game plan heading into those critical games.
Kolinisau reminded the players that whatever happens, they will win as a team and lose as a team, they will regroup and work on their positives and keep improving as the tournaments progress.
Kolinisau says he has created that positive awareness with his players that this is the beginning of greater things to come if they keep their discipline on and off the field.
