In other matches, Manchester United thrashed Everton 4-nil, Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-nil while Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham finished with a 1-1 draw.
Liverpool is leading the table with 35 points followed by Arsenal with 25 points, Chelsea is third with 23 points while Broghton is fourth with 23 points.
