Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Osea Kolinisau is receiving great response from the players and they know what is expected of them going into this weekend’s HSBC Hong Kong 7s tournament.
The no-nonsense coach shared how disappointed he was at the recent HSBC Vancouver 7s and said he was grateful that no one took a video of him talking to the players after their quarter final loss to South Africa.
Kolinisau says the players knew he was really disappointed about their performance and they knew they did not live up to the expectations.
He says sometimes they are overconfident, but the game was still yet to be played.
Kolinisau says they can't afford to be assuming things in the game of 7s and they are focusing a lot on their form and their decision-making, especially in crucial stages of a match.
