Kolinisau says with the Fiji Bitter Mataso Nakorovou 7s this weekend, the focus is now on refining the team’s defensive patterns which is an important part of the selection criteria for players.

He says they are working hard to ensure each player understands the defensive structure and their specific role within it as some of them get switched off during a game.

He adds that if the players clearly understand their defensive pattern, they will be well-prepared to tackle the challenges awaiting them in Dubai and Cape Town.

Meanwhile, Kolinisau has also confirmed that the team for the Dubai and Cape Town 7s tournaments will be announced after the Mataso 7s this Saturday.

The Dubai 7s will be held from the 31st of this month to the 1st of next month, while the Cape Town 7s will be held from the 7th to the 8th of next month.
