The Suva Grammar School Under 18s beat defending champions of the Deans Trophy, Queen Victoria School 29-5 in a friendly match at the Grammar grounds yesterday.
In another friendly match, the Marist Under 18s beat QVS 15-5.
Meanwhile, in the Eastern Zone competition, Ratu Kadavulevu School beat Lelean Memorial School 28-11 in the Under 18 Lutubula Challenge.
In other Under 17 matches, Tailevu North College beat Sila Central High School 17-12, RKS beat Rewa Secondary School 27-7 while QVS thrashed Tailevu North College 62-3 in the Under 15 grade.
In the Western Zone competition, Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute will take on Ratu Navula College while Natabua High School will face off against Cuvu College in the Under-18 Deans Western Zone semi finals today.
The Northern Zone competition continues today.
