Fiji Airways Flying Fijians halfback Frank Lomani

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians halfback Frank Lomani has joined the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad for the remainder of the Super Rugby Pacific season.

However, Lomani will not be available for this week’s match against the Rebels because of jet lag.

The 25-year-old will bring the much needed experience to the squad, having already played 25 matches for the Melbourne Rebels.

Lomani has also played 17 times for the Flying Fijians.

Drua Coach Mick Byrne says they are thrilled to have Lomani in the squad and having a fourth halfback for a specialist position is good for the side.

The Drua will take on the Rebels at 8.45pm Friday, the Crusaders will meet Moana Pasifika at 6.05pm Friday, Western Force will face the Reds at 11pm Friday, the Chiefs will play the Blues at 3.35pm Saturday, the Hurricanes will meet the Highlanders at 6.05pm Saturday and the Brumbies will take on the Waratahs at 8.45pm Saturday.
