The Fiji Water Flying Fijians’ chances of attracting more tier-one nations to play against them will depend on the results that they will produce in the upcoming November tour.

Robust forward Viliame Mata says if the team improves their results, tier 1 teams will keep wanting to play against them and they hope to get as much experience as they build on to the next Rugby World Cup.

Mata says the quarter-final finish at the RWC last year was a massive achievement for them and it gave them an opportunity to play against tier-one nations like the All Blacks and build up more confidence.

The 32-year-old says playing against the All Blacks is a great learning experience and something that they need as a team to get better.

He says playing against three tier 1 nations like Scotland, Wales and Ireland next month will be really helpful to gauge where they are and also answer the questions of whether they are a tier-one side or do they still have to work a bit harder?

The Flying Fijians will take on Scotland on the 3rd of November in their first match, they will then take on Wales on the 11th of November in their second test.

They will play Spain on the 17th of November before taking on Ireland in their final test on the 24th of November.
