Fiji out of Nations Cup after 2-1 defeat to Vanuatu

The Digicel Bula Boys are out of the OFC Nations Cup after they lost 2-1 against Vanuatu in the semi final this afternoon.

Vanuatu’s man of the match Jonathan Spokeyjack scored in the 12th minute while Fiji’s Sitiveni Cavuilagi equalised in the 1st minute of the second half.

This was Cavuilagi’s first goal in the national colours.

Vanuatu’s Jason Smith scored their winning goal in the 56th minute.

Fiji will face Tahiti in the third place play-off on Sunday at 12pm.

Vanuatu will take on New Zealand in the final this Sunday at 4pm.
