The Vodafone Secondary Schools Rugby League competition will mark the return of secondary school sports in the country after almost an year.
71 teams from 40 schools will be taking part this year in the U19, U17 and U15 grades.
While speaking at the launch today, Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League President Akuila Vute says all COVID-19 safety measures will be adhered to at different venues.
Vute says a nurse will be present at all venues.
Vodafone Fiji Chief Operating Officer Rajnesh Prasad says they are hoping to make a difference as this is a World Cup year.
The zone competitions will kick off next Saturday and will be played over 6 weeks.
This will be followed with elimination rounds at the ANZ Stadium.
