Manchester United’s interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has highly praised attacking midfielder and Portuguese footballer Bruno Fernandes after he helped United secure a 3-0 ein over Leicester in round 11 of the English Premier League this morning.
Fernandes scored the first goal for United before Victor Kristiansen and Alejandro Garnacho scored a goal each to seal the victory.
Nistelrooy says it was an important three points and in the four previous games, Fernandes scored some important goals and assisting as well, so he is back producing.
He says that is the Fernandes that is helping the team the most.
In other matches, Newcastle claimed a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest, Ipswich edged out Tottenham 2-1 and Arsenal and Chelsea ended their match with a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, Liverpool currently leads the Premier League standings with 28 points. Manchester City is second with 23 points, followed by Chelsea, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Brighton, all tied at 19 points.
