Ireland’s coach Andy Farrell knows the Fiji Water Flying Fijians will be coming in with huge threats and is running against time to figure out a game plan that will counter Fiji’s game structure.
After coming off a close 22-19 win over Argentina yesterday, Farrell believes he needs to select a team that will perform on the night.
Farrell says they will see how the players’ bodies fare up but they need to think about how they roll on.
He says looking at how Fiji played against Wales, they are unbelievably dangerous.
Ireland’s win has seen them move up to 2nd place with New Zealand slipping to 3rd place following their close 30-29 loss to France in Paris.
The Flying Fijians remain in 9th place despite their win over Spain yesterday.
Ireland will host the Flying Fijians at 3.10am Sunday at the Aviva Stadium.
