England's Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough have been chosen as the on-field umpires for tomorrow’s Cricket World Cup final between India and Australia in Ahmedabad.
It will be the second time Kettleborough is in the middle for the showpiece occasion, with the 50-year-old previously standing alongside Kumar Dharmasena in the 2015 final in Melbourne.
60-year-old Illingworth played in the 1992 World Cup final, also in Melbourne, which saw Pakistan defeat England.
The pair will be joined by Joel Wilson as third umpire, fourth umpire Chris Gaffaney, and match referee Andy Pycroft.
India is hoping to win their first ICC global tournament since 2011 when they lifted the 50-over title in Mumbai.
India plays Australia tomorrow at 8.30pm in Ahmadabad.
